Pour contents of can into blender but reserve 1/2 cup of liquid and 6 chick peas. Blend 5-10 minutes until well creamed. Mash garlic with salt then add along with remaining ingredients to the blender and blend 5 more minutes. If too thick, add reserved liquid. Pour into shallow serving bowl. Sprinkle with additional olive oil and garnish top with reserved chick peas, parsley and cumin or paprika.
